Settlement Overview

On February 12, 2025, the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California approved the settlement of the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission ("EEOC")'s claims against Goodsell/Wilkins, Inc.

In the EEOC's lawsuit, EEOC alleged that Defendant violated Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and Title I of the Civil Rights Act of 1991 ("Title VII") by subjecting its employees working at Goodsell/Wilkins to unlawful harassment, constructive discharge, and/or retaliation based on their race (Hispanic) and/or national origin (Latino) and sex (male) between August 2018 and the present.

The settlement, called a "Consent Decree," provides for a total of $730,000 in monetary payments to a class of eligible workers who were adversely affected by harassment based on race and/or national origin, sex harassment, constructive discharge and/or retaliation.

Individuals who are male and/or Hispanic/Latino, who worked at Goodsell/Wilkins during the Claims Period from August 2018 to February 12, 2025, may be eligible to receive a monetary award under the Consent Decree.
